In September 2009, Vale Poher releases "Tauten", faithful to the DIY tradition which is valuable for her. After a numbered edition of 200 copies, a new one, fully painted and handmade, is available.

Tight and tense album for its young history that is just as much.
Recorded late 2007, it was ready to be released for summer 2008. Following a series of disagreements with the label, it will not come out.

September 2008, I can't bring myself to let this album "stillborn". I involved so much of myself, I don’t want to give up. I decide to release it myself and realize the full cover : with Claude Bernier, the graphic designer, we produce 200 copies of Tauten, entirely handmade, painted and numbered. This edition, for now sold out, is sold on my site and at the time of shows.
Meanwhile, I hope to find someone to distribute the album. But Tauten will not come out.

Tense, political, rough, loud, militant, obsessive, rock, pulling from one end to another voltage, standing, unattractive, ready to explode, stretched to anyone who wants to follow concedes nothing : I so owe it at least this : concede nothing. I decide to release it. To resist in this uncertain recording world where everything goes faster and faster.

Tauten, album without a release date, been out forever or never, is now in a new edition painted and handmade. It can be ordered online or found at concerts. This edition is accompanied by 11 small handwritten notes randomly divided to tell anecdotes and origins of writing of the 11 tracks on the album.
