At first I was not going to respond to your comment as I don't feel the need to defend myself. The Host's song is really what this site is about to me. A great band making great music that deserves some attention. If you have a problem with sharing great music you are in the wrong place.

ok, well i just realized i was replying to someone else's comment on your page, sorry about that, you were the one sticking up for me! also, at about the same time i realized that ben gibbard is from death cab for cutie, not the decemberists so....basically my last comment is entirely irrelevant, lol.

i do wanna say thanks for the comment and for sticking up for me! i'm glad you like the song. ben gibbard is one of my biggest influences, so it's ok if people think i sound like him, i appreciate you sticking up for me though :)

Hey, thanks for the comment :) that song was inspired by the decemberists, i had just bought "crane wife" about two weeks before writing it. You're actually one of the first to ever notice though! thanks a lot, i hope you don't think it's unoriginal just because it's in their style, but if you think it's too much of a ripoff then let me know, i can take the criticism :)
