Thank you for bumping Getting Me Down, The Bridge End Dairy Company greatly appreciates your support. There is a small island in the middle of the Pacific called Clipperton with no natural resources other than bird guano. In 1917 Victoriano Alvarez, the lighthouse keeper, was the last surviving male with 15 women and children. Instead of taking advantage of odds that heavily favored having a date every Saturday night, he declared himself king and started killing and raping, until he himself was murdered by one of the women on the island. The important moral of this story is The Bridge End Dairy Company would never do anything like that. We’re often described as pleasant and lazy, so we’re really not the types. Also, the drummer is afraid of the ocean, so even getting the whole band to an island like that would be difficult in the best of circumstances.
