Biography

Website : www.eachpassingday.com

Loren Radis (that's me) is a California based singer/songwriter heavily influenced by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Iron & Wine, Damien Rice, and Elliot Smith.
I've been playing guitar since I was twelve and singing since I could talk, but only since my first girlfriend left me in November of '06 has writing and performing music become a more serious pursuit.
Music has helped me through a few really hard times in my life and if I can do the same for other people then I'll feel like I'm doing some... (+) expand

I am so glad to have finally discovered your music (late is better than never, eh?).

Hey mate, I dropped in after a long time of inactivity on the site...and what do I see with joy? You're still sharing your immense talent with the world :)

Cheers,
Julian

this is some sweet music you're making, loren. and i'm not just saying that because it sounds a little like mine! ;) your technique, both singing and playing, seems a lot more refined -- i'm sort of a primitive. but we've got lots of the same influences, aiming at about the same aesthetic.

Anytime--you keep making music like this, and you'll keep getting all the bumps I can give you.

I loooove the new song. I thought it'd be bad t61 etiquette to first bump the same artist twice, but I couldn't resist. I'm a sucker for acoustic guitar and lovely lyrics.

I could listen to Angeles all day and still look forward to hearing it again the next day!
It's all good, but that one is my favorite.

Hey man, "If" and "Words" are great songs! I've bumped a few times! Do you have any tabs, I would love to play some of your stuff?!?!?

Wow yeah that helped a whole lot actually, and it makes perfect sense! I just have to play with it a little to get the alternating finger picking but other then that yeah it sounds awesome ! Thanks a million! Goodluck with the rest of the music, let me know if theres anything new i would love to check it out !

Take care, Dylan!

did you use your own tab or sheet music for Trapeze Swinger ? if not would of possibly be able to tell me where you got it cause i've been looking for ages and haven't been able to find decent tab for this song.

Thanks, Dyliano!

P.S. You did a great job covering it I've been listening to it more the orginal lately!

Steping around on "thesixtyone" i fell (by chance!) into your universe.
Simply awesome, just emotional lyrics, only good music ! What else !

When i told you "If" makes me cry, it means you can touch people's hearts with chords and voice. It's a talent you have. Thanks again for these moments and keep on !! Even in France your music is loved !

Just read on timyjl's wall how you like comments, so I thought I'd mosey over and drop you a comment.
Good work.

Well, by that definition there are tons of very successful amateurish acts in the music biz. I don't think it's shallow at all. It comes across as a reply to a shallow conception more than anything.

Don't worry, you'll get your own Imagine, Dream On, or Mmm Bop eventually.

If Dance what you call "amateurish" I cant wait for your professional debut.

No problem for bumping your songs, I really like them, and I love Dance!

I may have noticed a subtle theme running through most of your songs. They say "write what you know" but gees! what a thing to know.

News

Well well well! Level 16, thanks everyone for the listens, the bumps, the comments, the myspace adds, for everything! This site has by far got the most friendly, responsive, interactive and encouraging community I've encountered. Thanks for everything :)

I think for this level I'd like to hold off uploading new songs for a little while. First off, I've only got two empty spots (if I'm counting right) and I don't want to waste them on demos or covers. Secondly, I feel like my listener base has grown a lot lately (not to mention the overall listenership of the site) and that some of my older songs have gotten left by the wayside when they really deserve more listens. I feel songs like Homesick for instance, deserves to have a lot more listens/bumps than a song like Dance, but Dance just got lucky because it was uploaded at a time when more people were listening to what I was putting up. Any ideas on how to promote those older (and I feel better) songs?

Anyway, thanks again, you guys are really great and it means more to me than I can express that you like my music :)

-loren
