Based in Toronto, Canada, Loveseat is the musical collaboration of Pouya Birgani (songwriter, guitarist) and Jen Mahon (vocals). The two formed in 2009, working with musicians Kevin Mendes and Jesse Taylor on live and recording projects.

On May 2nd, 2010 Loveseat released their debut self-titled EP. The EP gained immediate online popularity and promises energetic live gigs. Crafted with sing-along hooks, catchy guitar lines and danceable beats, Loveseat still manages not to lack in soul. The band plans to release a full length album later in 2011.
