Lovespirals began in late 1998 as an outgrowth of Love Spirals Downwards, the renowned Projekt Records recording project of multi-instrumentalist, Ryan Lum. Lum met sultry vocalist, Anji Bee, during promotions for his groundbreaking 1998 CD, 'Flux.' Bee was then working as a radio DJ and Music Director at a college radio station. The two hit it off and soon began collaborating on drum 'n' bass and downtempo remixes and singles.

To date, the band have released 3 full-length albums; 'Windblown Kiss' (2002), 'Free & Easy' (2005), 'Long Way From Home' (2007), 2 EPs; 'Ecstatic' (2000), 'Motherless Child' (2007), and numerous compilation tracks, including a remix of Claire Voyant for their 1999 CD, 'Time Again.'
