Hi,

my name is Luke James Shaffer. I go by Luke James while playing music. You can call me Luke.

I write music and lyrics about real life. I like to try and embody the topic I am focused on in order to create a song that means more to me and can ultimately mean more to the listener. I am not a great guitar player...I am more of a singer in all honesty.
I found out that when you lose something that means everything the motivations, the aspirations, the things you hold dear and the way you view your life all change. I am over "trying" to become something. I am over "working on it" in terms of my goals. I have decided that no matter what the cost, no matter what it takes I will make something of this life I have. I will take what God has given me and build something great. I'm done with mediocrity.
