New Songs Uploaded...Venice Beach...Oblivion...I Am Yours...

I've had a few people tell me that now, that all the little noises and layers in my sound really help it and make it sound complete, instead of just making a mess of things (always a risk). I suppose I'll have to take your word for it, hehe. :p

I'd love to hear whatever else you've done vocal-wise, by the way. Also, regarding 'borrowing' your voice, perhaps we could do a collab sometime? My time's a bit cluttered right now, but I think it'd be great to hear how our two styles could mesh, your vocals especially.

Oh, and the CD is being done through Kunaki.com, so it'll be a snap to order... It's shipped straight from the factory. The payment can be made through Paypal, cheque, whatever... it's a really great system. I'll let you know when everything's ready.

Hmm, I think perhaps the 'unified' feeling you mentioned might have something to do with my OCD-like tendency to join everything together with way too many layers of samples and ambiance. :p I think maybe I should do some kind of exercise in holding back; it'd be nice to be able to do things that are a little less packed full of, well, stuff. As it is, I just can't seem to stop adding to my songs.

I really do envy your voice, though. I'm still working on getting to a point where I feel confident singing without a ton of layers/processing, etc. If you listened to the album, you probably heard a lot of the weakness on "AFM" and a couple other tracks (if not the whole thing). I'll get there, though. I always thought just going for it and making music regardless of my vocal competence was a good way to improve.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing the new tracks! Oh, and I'm just waiting for the test copy of the album to arrive, after that it'll be available for purchase. :)

Yeah, I think I get what you mean-- I think maybe we just have similar ideas of what sounds killer in our music. :)

I'm actually quite surprised at the small amount of bumps/points/whatever I have gotten so far on here; I just signed up the other day and it all came quite quickly. Seems like a rather active place.

Har ju egentligen inget att jämföra med, men jag är nöjd med mina trummor. Stod mellan det här och det här. Den med Roland-modulen ska visst ha lite bättre ljud men det bryr jag mig inte så mycket om, skall ju mest bara spela in MIDI osv. Det blev iaf DM5:an, hade läst om en som hade den och var nöjd (och så hade den bra mycket högre listpris :).

Vad är det som råder mest här då, alternative/indie/electro?
Jag har förresten köpt ett digitalt trumset, satt ihop det i helgen, jekla skoj men SVÅRT! :-)

Jeklar, little girl har du arbetat på sen jag hörde den senast, gillar den! Verkar dock inte kunna "bumpa" som artist? känner mig rent allmänt rätt lost på den sajten, bump hit och bump dit, får läsa på lite tror jag :) Riktigt kul att man verkar lättare få lyssnare på den här än på andra.
