If coffee and Jolt Cola set aside their differences and made a rock band, it might sound a lot like Lunavelis. The group's melodic, emotive pop appeal combined with heavy use of electronic and digital instrumentation makes Lunavelis' music as attractive as the members of the band.

"I'm not exactly sure what I was thinking", remarks Lunavelis front-man Chris Feran on writing band's first song. "I'm pretty sure I hadn't slept since Reagan was president, and drank way too much coffee. Writing songs seemed a good way to pass the time."

Another thing I thought of: I was at the record store over the weekend (yea, I still go) and thought they might be a good resource of small places that I couldn't think of. Here's their site:
Sound Garden

This is an amazing album. Well done.

I actually went and bought both your albums from CDBaby because stupid Amazon does not work for non-US people. One comment: you guys should make the MP3 available for purchase better quality. The one I bought is shit and now I may need to rip the one off this website just so I can enjoy it fully.

Also, you do not really need these merchants, just make a website that can accept donations and otter the MP3s for download next to the donation button.

I paid CDBaby because I want to support you.

Keep it up!

Still lovin' Mr. Hyde - excellent music!

damn... the song hit too late at night, I'm afraid.
Were it to hit at 10 AM instead of midnight, I think it might've reached a few hunnert extry bumps.

I LOVE this band and am glad I bought their music from iTunes!

Scratch that. It posted. Well done, again!

It takes quite a bit these days. My last first bump, See Spot Run - Electric Glow took 7 days to post (it finally made it late this afternoon) and it sat around 475 bumps for the last day or two. So, they must have tightened up the restrictions on posting recently. You'll make it there.

Eventually.

Currently, I'm doing outpatient shit here in the Dayton area. My wife and I know that if it gets out of hand, we'll try to get into the Cleveland Clinic. They're the best (non-Mayo Clinic) cancer center in the midwest.
Aldark and I were invited by Dave to your show in May, but my situation changed...

you should title a song "cancercreature" that cracked me up

while I have your ear:
it's weird that I wrote that about country for Coentry, I can hear a minor country influence in Rest of the World. (Not a heavy overlay, but a bit of the voice and the rhythmic clapping sounds.

Underwater is one word, depending on context...
A body or item is under water.
A person or submarine in the water is underwater if, I think, it is a description of the location rather than the situation....
hell, I dunno now!

Actually, if you want to get crabs AND play in the same night, this might be the place to do it Nick's Fish House. Great place, right on the (admittedly dirty) water, gets absolutely packed on the weekends in the summer, and there's always someone on a stool playing an acoustic set when I'm there. Just had our summer company party there again last Friday and the place never disappoints. So, some food for thought. Literally. Just, you know, watch out for the claws.

Glad I could feed you.

I do look forward to the enhanced versions of those songs and the others in August. In case I forget, can you notify me when it comes out?

Coffee makes me go "bleeccchhh". I get my caffeine from all the free Coke my company supplies me with. It's a wonder I don't have the perma-sniffles.

Hey a question about the music--I got Airplane and Coventry EP (MP3 downloads) at Amazon and the EP has Mr. Hyde and Lexicon as bonus tracks. How do I get The Rest of the World?

As far as coffee shops, I'll have to keep thinking. I don't drink coffee (*gasp*), so I'm not privy to those types of establishments. But, I can definitely ask around.

Hell yea. It's got a great energy right from the start. It's worthy of all 20 bumps I have to give, without a doubt. Here's what I came up with for now:
Joe Squared Pizza [Steve Hefter has played here- the pizza is the best in the city]
Horse You Came In On Saloon [There are a bunch of bars in the Fells Point area of Baltimore suited for acoustic musics. Might be worth taking a sunny day and coming to wander around. It's my favorite part of town]
Charlottes [not sure about booking a gig there, but it's an awesomely chill place in my area of town- Federal Hill]

Haha, so true, never thought of it like that! Loving the new song, as soon as it came on I had the cursor over the bump button.

Keep it up!

I must warn you, a common side effect of being a vampire is Jonathan Davis-like vocals.

No problem, I'm LOVING your music.
But just what kind of crazy bumper cars were you playing with where people ended up in the hospital? lol

Chris' first attempt at reaching coffee nirvana reached 18 cups in an hour. He spent the next hour regretting the first. Enough time has passed, and he'd like to have some bottles of water for re-hydration, some sodium and electrolyte supplements, and another go!
