Haha Yonge Street is almost a mile from reverb ; but the streetcars/trams/trolleys are 24 hour and frequent. I'll send some info about the Queen West area where reverb and the entertainment district are. There's some really good places to eat around there too. Yonge St used to be the big downtown scene but that's moved to Queen west a long while back. Now Yonge is strictly for tourists and crack dealers.

It's a bitch trying to get any info from the NXNE people. I have talked to a few people and apparently most of the media stuff is already mapped out . We used to have good local media coverage but a huge media corp bought "MuchMusic and it's sister station CityTV both of which covered the local scene extensively but now are influenced more by their affiliation with MTV and mainstream crap...continued....

..... I'm not the most "connected" guy in town; I've been out of that part of the scene for a while and concentrating on my photography. However; I did send some emails to some local media types with links to your YouTube , MySpace and t61 sites. I'm trying to get the attention of a couple of people at Now Magazine (free) a local alternative arts and ent .paper. They've got a good circulation throughout the city.

I'll keep you posted and try to find out how they are covering venues. I haven't forgotten to send you a list of some places of interest. It's in the works. Do you know yet where you are staying in Toronto? If i knew that i can customize the list better.

Whoa... seems like a long shot with a 2-year-old at home, but I would LOVE to make it up for the NXNE festival. If you guys come, get your tour manager to book you down here in Boston somewhere as well... if you let me know when you are planning the tour and what club, I'll get some people to start calling and requesting you, "since we heard they were coming to the US". At the very least I will coerce dozens of people to come out for the show.

In the meantime, post some new material if you have some!
