International sensation, Maytav, is a pop/dance singer and songwriter originally from Israel, currently based in New York. She moved to the states at the age of eight where she began writing and recording locally in Rochester, NY. She decided to take music as a profession, when at 17, her debut single “Turn the Lights Down” became an instant overnight hit and made her the local star.

Upon finishing high school, Maytav made the decision to relocate to New York to advance her music career, despite being set up to serve the Israeli army. With an incredibly driven passion for music, Maytav blended her sound and energy into the glamorous nightlife scene of New York City where she’s establishing a name for herself in the world of pop/dance music. Her songs have been dropped at multiple parties and nightclubs in the city and have been followed up by local DJs. After partnering up with numerous local producers on original pop tracks, she is now in collaboration with several established artists/producers in the New York area. With the support of her fans, Maytav was able to reach over 30,000 video views on YouTube and has been featured in Z100’s Discover NEW! Music section as well as aired on several radio stations including radio646, an electronic/indie radio in NYC.

The young artist holds a contagious love for music in not only performing and in-studio work but in writing original material as well, which she wishes to share with the world. After releasing her promo video for her 02.01.2012 release, Maytav is on the edge of dropping two new hits from her upcoming album.
