Thank you for the listen and the bump! If you have time some time please feel free to give my originals a listen too. I hope to have something more "produced" than live takes in the future. There are five there that do have some harmony and a better production value but the rest are live in Second Life, playing from my home PC to about 40 people online. :D

mb:The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check my Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

I mean...if ya wanna.

No pressure.

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

Ahhhh yes. Nothing quite like a bump on a beautiful spring morning :) Thanks so much!! If you feel like giving me any feedback about "The Mark", I'd really appreciate it.

Here's to making it to level 7 so more music can be uploaded!

CloverRex recently revived our song "Good as Gold." It's one of the very first songs we posted here on T61 a while back...I'm glad to see it's getting another shot at "the big time." If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh, by the way, don't be alarmed by the numerous backwards messages buried deep within the mix of the song. We're just subliminally encouraging you to get plenty of fiber in your diet. And check the air pressure in your tires regularly. And floss. No big deal, seriously.

Just flow with it.

All right...here's a heads up. At or around 7:13pm (Central Daylight Time) today (March 26) Admiral Twin (that's us) will upload a new track to T61. It's called "The Fools' Brigade." It's in 6/8 time. It's cynical...but fun. There's even a real-deal tavern singalong chorus at the end. We think you'll like it.

OK then...

hey, since you're a subscriber to us I wanted to let you know we just put up seven new live recordings from our show last Saturday at Cinespace in Hollywood. The audio is really great and includes five previously unrecorded songs, including "Mercedes Benz" a cover of a Janis Joplin classic. I think these sound much better than our album, let us know what you think. Cheers!
