MDF was formed 10 years ago by founders Matt(drums) and Dave (guitar). After adding two more members, a young MDF began playing shows occasionally, while at the same time beginning to write their own material. After a few lineup changes, MDF added Mike on bass. At this point, MDF existed only as a 3 piece band, constantly searching for a singer who would become a permanent part of the group, rather than just be a hired hand. Part of what is different about MDF is that all members of the band contribute a piece of their own musical style and influences in the song writing process, which in turn helps shape each song into something unique.
