Music has long been a central passion and motivator for me; not the artificially generated, mass-manufactured bunk to be expected from commercial radio. I like honest music, complete with its quirks, flaws, and a rich sense of the human spirit behind the lyrics and the music.

For two decades I have been in a variety of scenes — Seattle influenced grunge bands, a short stint in a funk band, straight up rock, and a few other eclectic projects and bands along the way. But I have always returned to my acoustic as a place of solace, comfort and freedom — freedom to create, freedom to roam, and freedom to pour my heart through the strings and my voice in ways that are intimate, vulnerable, and honest.

My two most recent CDs — "Tranquility" and "Mystique" — are reflections of that freedom and honesty; collections of improv material created live, on the spot, and with just my acoustic and a variety of pedals to help achieve numerous voices and layers of sounds. My older material leans more towards the singer/songwriter genre, giving a glimpse into the journey to find myself and the way best to express myself.

On a practical note, I don't get to play as much these days with a new baby girl in my life, but as time passes I hope to share more and more with you as the days progress. Thank you for your support, your kind words, and for sharing in the vulnerability with me.
