Hey bd, has highways of gold posted yet?

Hehehe. Yeah when I wrote that song, like 8 years ago, we recorded it 2 years ago, I turned from the esoteric hard rock for a bit and set my mind to write the cheesiest pop song I could muster. Our other stuff is much less nursery rhymeish. Thanks for the listen and comment.

Here's an RB for your forum post. Runaway form Lithium speed dementia. Nice one!

yeah, tho we are actually listening to the radio, actually making new friends and finding new music. and I checked the TOC.. it seems to be more concerned (and should be more concerned) with disruptive mechanisms like false/robot-produced numbers or bypassing characteristics of the site. Each radio bump is by a real person really listening to someone's radio. People and music. that's what it's about :)

I'd preferred to have carried on the conversation in a more 'you and i' format. Now it's 'out' there. I'd really rather not drag it any further out in to the community as a distraction. I guess I'd go down with the ship so to speak and don't have a problem with that. It was some cold water for sure, maybe wise, I don't know. Referencing all the previous incidents, I'd rather not exacerbate the situation so as to ruin anyone else enjoyment of music and things much more important than me. I have done as you suggested and am waiting for a response. I've tried to adjust slighlty in the mean time.

Really hope there isn't an issue with the radio bumping initiative. it's a bunch of people, non-exclusive -- anyone can participate...I'm not even sure how I got here -- having fun with the site we all love in its untampered structure, getting to know new people and new music. isn't that the point?
rb 57 to you :)

Thanks Mr. Velvet. I was due for a change anyways...although that green face was easy to find in a crowd. Now the adventure begins.....probably won't see me around here as much.

Hey, you're probably right. It's the new album cover, but it's not the clearest photograph of me, for sure. I've changed it.

Thanks for the love. I'll be uploading more very soon.

Hi...Jarrod from Admiral Twin here. I contributed a track to the For Supergrover cover song project here on T61 (Haven't heard about it? Read this article to find out more: http://www.maxbumps.net/2008/09/supergroverfor-squirrels-tribute.html.)

My track, "Orangeworker," was uploaded recently. There are also great tracks from Glenn Case, Temple Scene, and Delightful Young Man. If you'd like to check it out, head over to www.thesixtyone.com/forsupergrover/

Hello mrvelvet,

We have just updated our top 10 leader board which is now out of 458 separate listeners. Check it out and see what you have to do in order to place in our next top 10 leader board. Also we are trying to get Gloria to 1000 bumps which will make it our first song to do so. We need your help to get it there, and when we get Gloria to 1000 bumps we will upload our final track to t61.

Thanks for the support, peace,

HJ

Greetings. We've uploaded another tune. It's some of our earlier work and it's, for lack of a better term, powerpop, and yes, the hook was meant to drive you mad. It's called "I Would Steal the Sun". As an aside, all of our songs have corresponding videos available on the page, some are full on production and some are live, so get and an ear and an eyeful, and as always, thank you for listening.

Hello again, we know it's been a long time since we were last active on the site, but we've been in the middle of moving across the country, and have finally settled and begun music-making again! In our excitement to return actively to the61, we are going to be posting two more songs today; both of them are unreleased songs, and are being publicized for the first time on the61. Please give them a listen, and we'd love to hear back from you!

Thanks for all your continued support,
_Mobley
