To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Never mind! Studying is always more important than being on t61 (though it's not always as much fun ;)). Anyway "welcome back", glad you can relax a bit with some great tunes on here. BTW: Hope everything went well and you are going to get a satisfying result!

RB #146: On The Rocks - In The End

PS: Everything's fine for my part, thanks for asking!

RB #143: Act Of Congress - High and Dry
I like this version more than the orginial. But on second thought they're too different to be compared like this...

Anyway, have a nice day! :)

From the beginning I was addicted to the gaming/leveling aspect of T61, so that might explain it. ;)

The wall seems to be only visible to the respective user, so one could call this private. ;)
After all your T61 time you must've gained some historical experience, I guess. Maybe you can tell me one thing I was wondering about ever since I knew they had changed from the bumps to the hearts: Did they convert bumps into hearts and if yes how?

RB #142: Port O' Brien - Fisherman's Son

The amount of points I collected so far also amazes me. But I got most of them from quests and achievements.

Yeah, the wall isn't the best place for having a conversation. However T61 doesn't offer us anything else, it must be ok to discuss here.
I am from Germany and I found this place around April/May 2011 by searching the internet. Basically I needed an alternative for the streaming service I had been using so far (due to some changes of their terms of service).
How about you? Where are you from and what's your story with T61?

They are awesome, some of their covers are better than the original. This one for sure!
Like you I know Gotye from T61. The day they started to play "Somebody that I used to know" on the radio I was quite surprised.

BTW: The first time I saw so many ppl on one guitar was two years ago. It's a song by a great indie band called Little Comets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5TOSpYEIQ4

Hey, I never knew how that particular instrument was called. Thanks! Saw it a couple of times in videos/TV etc. but had no clue about it's name! But I guess it's quite easy to play for someone with piano skills. Looks fun to play for sure! :)

I only play piano... Well, I once tried to learn to play the guitar, but I stopped after maybe 5 tabs...
When I left my parents' house I stopped playing regularly, cause I don't own a piano. But usually when I visit them I like to play a few chords. Several times I thought about buying a keyboard or electric piano. But I couldn't decide yet, since that's not exactly the same as a real piano. Do you play any more instuments apart from guitar and piano?

I just love Pachelbel's canon, one of my favourite classical pieces. Mossuto's combination with electronic beats led to a quite extraordinary piece!
But to be honest, mainly all my interest in classical music is a result from the times when I was taking piano lessons as a kid/teen. ;)
