biography
Born in Wisconsin on March 3rd 1983 Nathan Schafer is a composer and songwriter. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2005 and is now living in Los Angeles. He self-released his debut EP "A Lapse" in November 2007. It features 5 songs in an acoustic, slightly folky, and indie pop/rock style. Influences of this EP include Death Cab for Cutie, Sufjan Stevens, Old Canes, and The Decemberists. More information can be found at his website here:

A couple of reasons though...I felt it just needed something... quirky, cheesy. Sometimes that sort of thing can be charming. It also works with what the lyrics mean to me too, but thats another can of worms.

Most people like it, some think its stupid.
