No problem. It's a great song!

it's no problem really. country sounds rarely do great here but there have been notable exceptions. i certainly am surprised that your cover of "prodigal son" didn't do better. i thought it was an outstanding cover.

cheers!

No problem at all. I know what it's like, being an Avett's fanatic myself. I can go weeks without listening to anything else but them. We're definitely an obsessed bunch, I'll admit that for sure.

deepcreekwaters looked to be your listener account (judging by your profile songs and this band's McHenry, MD location). Deep Creek/Wisp is a great area. I've skiied at Wisp more times than I can count and have done my fair share of boating on the lake as well. Anyways: I saw the comment on the Avett Brothers' page and wanted to pass along a festival they're included in in WV soon: The All Good Music Festival. I was hoping to go being that it's so close (and the lineup is pretty darn good), but I'll be out of the country. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that your prayers for a WV show were answered. =)

A lot of bands get a listener account. It allows you to mingle more with the listeners and get a real feel for the site.

Prodigal is an excellent cover and a pleasure to bump!

I agree with mathmanmrt. Experience around here shows that uploading one track about every 7 - 10 days works the best. Otherwise your points get spread too thin and people don't bump as much when there are multi uploads.

i wish you guys would slow it down a little. you play some of the best country on the 61 but you're starting to get in your own way. you'll notice on my profile i mostly listen to rock and electronic but i've bumped on almost everything you've uploaded because you've got something special going for you.

cheers!

This is the sort of music you expect from soundtrack albums like Juno (unfortunately they stuck with pretty much the same artist throughout, but you guys would have been a great alternate!). Keep it up. (:

Thank you for creating great music! Looking forward to hearing more from you guys, and bumping whenever I can :-)

This sound sheds light even into the darkest hours of life. Not that I'm depressed in any kind, but if I was, I'd prescribe myself a good healthy listen and all the clouds would flee in an instant. Thank you for that, guys!

This is in the wheelhouse of what I love! Just hope that so many songs uploaded in such a short time won't dilute your exposure. I feel it highly likely though, but regardless of that fact. I love the sound and couldn't find a song by y'all thus far that I wouldn't bump.

You guys have a great country sound that, for some reason, really helps me concentrate when I'm programming. I love it, just keep making great songs and I'll keep bumping them. But you guys really need a banjo player, it would add so much more flavor to the music, especially to songs like "Thanks Again." Then you'd really get the bluegrass style out there. Keep that in mind for me!

no problem. pardon me if this sounds like i'm not characterizing your music correctly but what i like in your songs i've liked best is that blending of an alt-country and bluegrass feel. if you looked at my profile you saw that the genres i listen to and bump on the most are rock and electronic. but i'm open to a lot of music.

take care!

Welcome! Great first post.

welcome to the 61!

3 suggestions--

1. put up some profile songs.
2. get rid of the van by the river.
3. resist the urge to upload 2 more songs when you level up so that your first three can have a chance to find an audience before you have 2 more songs competing with the first 3. wait at least a day or two after you level up.
