I made it to level 2! New songs soooon.

Studio monitors are broke! Oh no! Hoping to rectify this soon. UPDATE: Rectified! New, fancy monitors now in my possession.

No guitar at the moment. Trying to write a few tunes without instruments, which will be added later. Geometry can be stifling.

My email is nolansmock@gmail.com! OMG!

New side project, Maxwell B. Houseworth (w/ friend and drummer, Eric Kopp), is impressing unsuspecting audiences. Improvisational free pop jazz? Accessible avant-garde?

Still living in Greenville, NC. Life is good, days are warm, and new music is constantly being tracked.

Ever seen The Guatemalan Handshake? We recommend it!

biography
Nolan Smock, bound by the whims of his sub-conscious, brews up bedroom compositions when he can. Mostly improvisational, but always considered.

His hopes amount to releasing on free record a year, at least. You can download last year's @ www.beatnikvending.com

I like Inaudible Chatter a lot. Keep up the good work, from a fellow NC'er.

listening to if this drone could talk, it's really amazing i also am new and am so glad that i do everything at random and found you guys. The combinations of your instruments is simple but also says alot with repeating sounds.
