The Charming Youngsters have evolved from quirky folk act into a relentless power pop act in the dark corners of Greenville, NC. They have been noticed for their blend of traditional American music, nerd rock, and high-energy soul.

As a band, the group has been playing just under a year and has already earned a following in their hometown playing countless shows locally and around North Carolina.

The Youngsters will be recording in Asheville at Altamont Recording Studio (Emily Haines, Sparklehorse, Doug Gillard [GBV]) with Mark Boyd (King Tut) in January 2010 and are planning to begin touring in early April.
