Not My Day are extremely proud that two of our songs have been chosen for the soundtrack of Philip Pullman's forthcoming feature film 'The Butterfly Tattoo'!

The producers have picked 'Stronger Than Any' and 'Happiness Will Spell The End' to play over two key montage scenes during the movie.

'The Butterfly Tattoo' will be premiered at the Cannes Film Festival next May, but you can see a teaser trailer now by visiting here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TTu0EWG3tmo

biography
www.myspace.com/notmydayoxford We don't like talking about ourselves all that much - we prefer it when others make their own judgements. So when a guy who just a few weeks earlier played in front of 25,000 people at the Coachella Festival in California then headlined at the Carling Academy Brixton said this about us, we're inclined to share it...

"I was truly impressed with the power and the tightness of their sound. They pack a mean punch and by the time their set had finished I was feeling pretty nervous about taking to the stage myself. They're a tough act to follow that's for sure." Mark Crozer of The Jesus and Mary Chain & International Jetsetters, 2007.

You guys sound great!

I was wondering if I could use your song, "Dickie Kay", on an upcoming episode of my podcast?

Thanks for your consideration.

No problem on the bumps. Let's see if we can get you on the Home page.

The architecture thing. I studied at Hertford College, I'm the a jazz saxophonist Soweto Kinch.
No not really. I'm local-ish, we pass Hertford Bridge on the way to the Natural History Museum. I 'studied' in some crappy comprehensive and the university of life ;-)

Just bumped you off the rack. Then spied, if I'm not mistaken, some Oxford architecture in the background. Am I right or am I right?

Great sound btw.

You guys are fantastic. Is there an album in the works? Record deals? World tours? I've got to say, anything you come out with, I'd absolutely love to hear. Keep it up!

I wouldn't worry about fizzling or whatnot, but I'm new here, too, and also don't really get how it works. I'll bump you again whenever I reach level 5, though.

Don't worry about the lack of bumps.

It's not you...it's me.

Hey, don't get disheartened by the seeming lack of bumps... you will be found!
