NSPS plays irresistibly popadelic, hauntingly poetic, wonderfully droll music from a dying carnival for you to sleep, dance and weep to. The project so far—over the last 15 or so years—consists of songs by Jeremy Mathews. Mathews plays guitar, sings like no one wants to and is also known to attempt accordion, keyboards, cello, bass, and percussion. His songs are frequently described as weird. Whenever possible, Jeremy is joined by Aaron Leitko and "Furious" Joe Irvin.
