Biography

Obedient Waves is a Los Angeles-based jam band, working unique harmonies and signature, dueling vocals over a bed of hard-rocking guitars & drums. They like to spread themselves around, playing with a rotating cast of musicians & they are here to show you a good time.

ROCK & ROLL 4 PRESiDENT is a weekly YouTube series by Obedient Waves, injecting a flaming hot mess of random cover rock into a steady stream of original new tunes. Launched August 2007, it will run till the good ol' U.S. of A. gets a new pressure chief. That's a lot of videos.

I had lived in Westwood the last four years while attending school and mostly acquainted myself with the west side of LA. Hopefully I can make more of an effort to check out the other side since I live in Orange County and it's only an hour drive away :-)

In fact, Nic Harcourt listed their album in his top 10 of 2007. They also did an in-studio performance which you can check out here. Also, this might interest you since you guys are based in the LA area (particularly in Silverlake). According to their myspace, they’re playing somewhere in Echo Park in couple days on March 11th. As you can tell by the tone of my comment on your song I'm not a fan of when people do it (1) because it's confusing to listeners and the artist of the song the comment is left on (case it point, your question) and (2) because no one really cares how many bumps there were at the exact moment they left a comment. Anyways, I like your music. Keep up the good work.
