Painting The Prototype is a Dallas Texas based Electro/Ambient Duo. They released their debut E.P in April 2010. They have been described as forging a new genera called "Cinematic Electronica". Before forming Painting The Prototype they recorded and produced records for many popular Dallas bands. Their debut E.P took 2 years to make due to their quirky work flow and their love of finicky Analogue Synthesizers.

In 2011 PTP has released "down to business ep" Electro house/Synthstep, and they just released the "DE-STroi EP" featuring electro house bangers "Z" and "DE-Stroi", and the slammin dubstep track "Feelin" . both are free to download off www.facebook.com/paintingtheprototype
