Somewhere between convolution and safe, raw purity lives Pathos. They are the soundtrack to isolation; your company in depth. Originally from Wichita, KS, it is Pathos' intimacy and ability to engage that won them title of Best Band awarding them an opening slot for the band Kansas in the 2003 Midwest Battle of the Bands competition. Since then, Pathos has been touring the south delivering intention and a morose romanticism in their live performances. Pathos paraphrases their influences precisely, channeling Tool, Mia Zapata, Deftons, A Perfect Circle and Genesis. With Andru Hull's (guitar) sweeping, savant bi-polarity, Jenny Wood's (vocals) wild, siren-like lamentations, the soulful pulse of JJ Flores (drums) Pathos is the perfect heavy lullaby.
