Biography

Born in 2005 out of turntables, a sampler, and a microphone, Philadelphia Slick has evolved into a ten-piece hip-hop ensemble. While lead emcee Noesis spins lyrical webs, producer and keyboard player Zach Reilly composes music that is somewhere in between DJ Shadow and Curtis Mayfield – a contemporary splice of funk and soul music from days past. While Noesis and fellow emcee Mike Tjader deliver rhymes on everything from politics to health, live horns and strings further entrance the audience. Yeah,

Detroit, MI - Magic Stick
Detroit, MI - St. Andrews
Pontiac, MI - The Croofoot
Ann Arbor, MI - The Blind Pig (this would be easier to get into than the other but the hip-hop following in AA isn't as big but your style would do really well out here... some good hip hop is coming here this later this summer... Hieroglyphics, blue scholars were there the other day)

I second the come to Detroit comment, you'd get an instant following

Hey guys. Your rhymes are fabulous. Huge props to the man behind the lyrics. It's been a long time since I've heard something as original as this, best of luck to you guys.

You did a good thing putting your music up on SixtyOne tone, i would never of found you guys if it was not for the people over here and my fellow goons over at SomethingAwful

Hey man. The beats you make are ridiculously sick, do you have a bunch of people helping you or do you use a keyboard or something to record beats? As of now, I'm very limited and I really want to expand my beats toward more complex varieties. Yours, I can safely say, are amazingly complex haha
tips for a fellow aspiring artist?

thanks,
NGP
