hey, saw your question about isolating the audio for the black mirror remix. any remix you hear like this requires access to the original, separated studio tracking. its kind of a myth, how a lot of people think you can use software to isolate things. its impossible.

while arcade fire has never released this tracking officially to anyone, they did make this interactive flash video site www.rorrimkcalb.com, and someone ripped the separate tracks into mp3s. and it flew all over the internet. thanks for checkin out the remix though!

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be available again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

You bumped "Go Home, Please", "I'm Only Sleeping" and "Say Yes". I appreciate that. Thank you.

I won't be putting any new songs on here for a long time. I'm BEYOND maxed out with 21 songs. I will have to reach level 20 to put up anything new, and the highest rated artist is at level 17 right now. It's safe to say it's going to be a while.

Then again, 21 songs is a probably a lot to absorb. Should you choose to hear more, you can!

If I don't get a unanimous "go ahead and take it down" for God Only Knows I won't remove it. Instead, I might just re-record the vocals, and perhaps the doubled vocals would be a suggestion I could take to heart.

I'm sending this message because you bumped "God Only Knows". Sadly, it's my lowest performing song to date on thesixtyone. Thus far it looks like you may have actually lost points on it by bumping it. Sorry about that.

I am strongly considering the idea of deleting that song to make room for a different one, but I wanted to check with the people that bumped it before I actually do that. I can even give you advance notice of when I'm going to upload the replacement song if you like.
