To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Hello Puzat. I just wanted to let you know that Headbones made their songs available for download and they are free. I asked the band for them and they were very cool about it.

i hear you man. i'm not sure all of this is for the better, but i'm not ready to jump ship just yet, as an artist or listener. i will participate in the "blackout" tomorrow, just to let em know that they have work to do to restore some of the lost social features. reading wall posts and having open interactions all over the place was one of my favorite parts of this whole "adventure"

don't kill yourself with the amish pilot part. i'm going to edit whatever i get, so have fun with it...

hope everything is going swimmingly for you in life and music

would you be able/willing to contribute a little acoustic geetar to a track i am working on with harper and heinali, with contributions from several 61 artists, with potentially many many more? the song is coming together nicely, but is a little loopy. some sparse phrases sprinkled throughout the track would counter this nicely, and i'm sure would add positively to the end result. should be pretty simple and straightforward
