Recue is the musical outlet of Riku Annala, electronic musician/producer born and raised in Finland. Twiddling with musical instruments since a teenager; guitar, drums, trackers, synths, couple of minor band projects, collaborations and remixes done with pure passion for music technology rather than formal training. The driving force behind the music is the enjoyment of the creation process when tweaking the knobs in his home studio. That has resulted in rather headphone friendly, wide, dreamy soundscapes topped off with crunchy dsp driven beats.

Recue released his first album "Between Stations" in 2006 on the netlabel One. The release had a positive response and some webcommunity hype behind it. Since then Recue has performed live on electronic music events around Europe, done remixes for other artists and tracks for compilations. Quite recently (2008) released second album "All the Wrong Places" released on Rednetic Recordings sold out rather quickly. Now Recue is getting ready to release some of his older work on Audiobaum on the album titled "Leftover Love".
