Well, with the way the system works, its really hard to make any points with top artists these days. So, I tend to bump them sparingly at first and wait till they cost 5 pts to maxbump them. But if I really like a tune, what the heck, I don't care about the points.

Thanks. I'll never get it until the bid frenzy dies down a bit. But it's fun to keep plugging. I really wish people would give the un-revived, under-1000 bump songs more of a chance.

I've got a few in my mind. I'm sort of holding out to see where the points required to revive will settle. Or if it will go up. Crazy valueless economy.

looks like you've only gotten about half the points back that you spent on that RAC first bump. that's kinda scary.

haha yeah...usually i'm asleep at the time. btw, i was eavesdropping on your convo with brian below, and you do receive a lesser return for bumping an artist at a higher level.

Actually, I've noticed the same weirdness. For instance, I was the 4th bumper for Without You Here Tonight by ph7 and I max bumped 11 times. Now it's at 911, and I only have 222 points from it. But I was the same number bumper for No Rest For The Wicked by Adrian Kolbo, which currently only has 566 bumps, and I've gotten 666 points for it - 3x what I have for ph7's song which has way more bumps.

ph7 is a higher level than Adrian Kolbo, so maybe it has something to do with the artist's level - the higher the level, the less the payoff (and obviously the higher bumping costs). That would explain the lack of points for bumping a huge artist like RAC.

Or maybe the points haven't filtered through entirely yet... I'd wait it out.
