Hello! I was raised between a farm in Hiroshima, Japan and a suburb in Orange County, California (more Long Beach than Laguna). I thought I was going to be a filmmaker, went to school for that in Santa Barbara. I used to think of myself as someone who likes to look and listen instead of speak. I definitely have a staring problem.

Impulsive writer since I was a kid and purposeful songwriter since a few years ago. Been working on being more intentional recently... which has nothing to do with fame and everything to do with connecting in a positive way. I'm on a journey and music finds me wherever I am.

Everything you hear on an album so far was recorded in the back of a Chevy Astro Utility Van (except for the piano, big and heavy) and mixed in my bedroom. I have said good-bye to 3 guitars and 2 surfboards and have had friends, family and strangers supporting me over the past 4 years to keep at this. I am all about DIY and word-of-mouth... things grow from the ground, up.

Last year was a crazy year of playing shows all around California and I feel lucky to have met so many amazing people who also bought my music to keep me afloat. This year I've been busy writing and recording a new music. I hope to find/decide to record with some great people so more of you can hear my music.
