Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Rick Hack began his musical career at the early age of five singing on his Aunt’s fireplace in front of the family with a plastic guitar.

It wasn’t until high school when he recorded himself singing and playing the clarinet and in the high school plays that he realized he was meant to be a musician.

Hack attended college in Columbia, SC where he explored his musical talents further, and for 6 years toured the Southeast with some of the hottest artist of that time. 1994-2000.

It wasn’t until Hack moved to Los Angeles where he teamed up with guitarist Dan Vos and percussionist John Kurimai to create a unique blend of Americana, Soul and Singer Songwriter style of music that blends the classic sounds of The Doors and Bread with modern influences of Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol.
