In early 2008, after dabbling in various forms of music since the mid-80s, Rick Sparks began to seriously focus on producing original tracks for professional projects. While working as freelance voice talent & attending weekly stage/improv classes, he found the time to compose, produce, and perform over a hundred cues between February 2008 and September 2009. In late 2008 he joined The Composer Collective to further his experience & study in the realm of film, television, & commercial music scoring.
Rick also studies & practices live stand-up comedy, lives in Los Angeles with his longtime girlfriend, provides freelance services as voice talent, volunteers voice-over sessions for The Braille Institute, and has some experience working as a film extra.
