To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Beautiful music here.....you have found your niche, this seems quite clear. I know you have been here a while and have a good listener base, but I found a short article recently, a quick read full of all sorts of info for musicians about this place. I'm going to share it with you. Thank you again for posting your work here. (would love some sort of bio...nudge nudge) http://www.passivepromotion.com/thesixtyone

I think too many people associate ATM with Ass to Mouth in porn.

Strongly consider a name change.

Here are some suggestions:

2. Crispy Todd
3. Ponce the Filcher
4. Ponce the Flicher
5. Ponce le Ponce

there's a Mega Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller on May 8th. Time or times TBA.

ANY 61 artist who wishes to join in should wall post their song name and band name on KosmikRay 's wall. There are 54 bands confirmed so far and hopefully the number will round out at an even 100.

Came back for a second listen after I noticed "My Number 1" posted...had to bump some more songs. The Oprah song is hilarious but feels a bit sacreligious at the same time. Good Luck!

Hey, I run the T61 Fan Podcast. Would you mind if I featured "My Number 1" on my next podcast?

There's a new episode of TODAY on THESIXTYONE.COM Fan Podcast out on my feed and embedded players. The website will catch up when Bagman returns from the dead. Today I bring you the following artists:

Nine Inch Nails, Tripp Algiers, ikki, Champion Vinyl, Band of None, Cornbelt Chorus, Contents Under Pressure, Makeshift Prodigy, Sam Hokin, El Jugador, and plenty of stupidity.

Casters of Pod need bumps too. If you haven't already voted for my show in March please do so.
