To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

80's synthpop is in my blood, but I make a rule of only listening to music less than two years old. My songs strike a healthy balance, fleshed out with piano accompaniment. Anyone who took music lessons as a kid calls themselves "classically trained," but I stuck with it, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. Immediately after graduation, I left Beethoven and Brahms behind to pursue my first musical inspiration, Depeche Mode.

Aw man, I'm gonna miss listening to your music on my radio. The site redesign is horrible! I had to use the old site address to check it out.

Nice work as usual on the new tune; the mix sounds so very clear (a testament to your skills)- also looks as though you've got Ableton working like a well-oiled machine. Cheers.
