UPDATE: The entire Feisty EP is now available for downloading via The Sixty One. Please bump it around and share.

DOWNLOAD IT HERE!

This is the ten year anniversary of the band that would one day be called The Western Investor - but back then was called Feisty!

And for this milestone, TWI is looking to share by releasing their first EP, in its entirety, online.

At the moment, we're not at a high enough level to upload all 6 songs here, but we will be making it available for download on our website soon - and if we can squeak a few more points, we'll be putting them up online here as well.

biography
The Western Investor are four old friends who get together once a month or so to catch up, make noise, drink beer and write songs. And every three years or so those songs add up to a record, their most recent effort being "This Beautiful Town".

In the old days the foursome played around town quite a lot in various incarnations including Feisty and The Mean Reds.

They're older now and a bit lazier and they make the odd mistake, but they don't care so much because there are just more important things to worry about. And you can tell that they appreciate more than ever that playing in a band really is the best thing ever.

Soundwise they rip off their favourite bands in the most honest and respectful way possible, and they end up playing quiet melodic pop that's sometimes cynical, sometimes humorous, and sometimes quite sad really.

And they're really good, so come on out and invest in the west.

Hear all about the band in this interview on CBC radio!

God...I am not really sure why I didn't bump you more when I first discovered you. Guess I was still getting used to the 61 and probably didn't have enough points to spare. Glad I have them now...fantastic music!
