I'm really happy with Psalm 46 - I hope whoever first-hearts it gets LOTS of reputation from it.

The "If We Can" album really sucks. I'm putting it up here for interest, but I admit it's pretty bad. Sorry everyone!

biography
I've been playing music and even writing songs since I was a little boy. My first song was called "Murphy the Molar," and was written about a tooth, fighting cavities; I was 7 years old. Now my songs tend to be pensive, thoughtful, and romantic.

After Murphy, it wasn't too long before I discovered girls, and the love songs began-- I was falling in love with nearly every girl out there.

My album "12 Girlfriends," is a collection of twelve love songs-- they were written over a period of years and recorded in a couple of days.

Now-a-days, I like to write significant, poetic lyrics that tell stories, or delve a little deeper into challenging topics.

I know my music is pretty stripped back, and bare... and tends to be a bit depressing.

I think I'm moved more by the melancholy than any other type of emotion. Maybe it's a reflection of my life.

I was raised in a violent home, and always struggled with self-esteem issues. I wasn't a popular kid in school, and maybe I caused many of my own problems by being so reclusive.

Now I like to think of myself as "healed," however there are still times when negative emotions are more of a driving nature in my life than anything else.
