I recorded a new song this morning (Save My Life), it's scheduled to come out on YouTube at the end of June, but you get it here early! Hope you enjoy!

I'm uploading again-- I've got about 50 or 60 Psalms (from the Bible), which I've recorded the last two years, and a Christmas Album which I guess I should save for next Christmas.

biography
I've been playing music and even writing songs since I was a little boy. My first song was called "Murphy the Molar," and was written about a tooth, fighting cavities; I was 7 years old. Now my songs tend to be pensive, thoughtful, and romantic.

After Murphy, it wasn't too long before I discovered girls, and the love songs began-- I was falling in love with nearly every girl out there.

My album "12 Girlfriends," is a collection of twelve love songs-- they were written over a period of years and recorded in a couple of days.

Now-a-days, I like to write significant, poetic lyrics that tell stories, or delve a little deeper into challenging topics.

I know my music is pretty stripped back, and bare... and tends to be a bit depressing.

I think I'm moved more by the melancholy than any other type of emotion. Maybe it's a reflection of my life.

I was raised in a violent home, and always struggled with self-esteem issues. I wasn't a popular kid in school, and maybe I caused many of my own problems by being so reclusive.

Now I like to think of myself as "healed," however there are still times when negative emotions are more of a driving nature in my life than anything else.

I just listened to Psalm 6 - Save My Life. I'm not a religious person, but that's a beautiful song. Just wanted to let you know.

And while I'm here: I read in your new section that you got an invite for Google Wave. How times did change in just six years :)

good question David - wtf?? hehe - just kidding.

Jason, another lovely song with History - you are my vote either for "most under-hearted artist" or "next T61 discovery" - depending on my mood...

Thanks for posting this lovely song :-)))
