SaviorSelf.07.05.98 (sometimes abbreviated as "SS7598") began in 2007 as the musical project of Mike Johns. Originally blending together elements of electronica, new wave and indie rock, Mike eventually strayed off into the land of dance and synthpop, where the modern SS7598 sound truly began to take shape. Into 2010 and beyond, Mike continues to produce and record under the name SaviorSelf.07.05.98, combining elements of synthpop, new wave, alternative, gothic, industrial, and rave, into a unique style all his own. He also has strayed into the realm of remixing, re-imagining the hits of today under the name 'TMJ'. His art has also expanded into the pro wrestling podcast "Maverick Radio", where Mike remixes interviews and commentary into some of today's biggest hits, as well as whatever other music he can get a hold of.

Regardless of its form, Mike's art continues to change and evolve, serving as a reflection of modern society through the ever-changing eyes of the Man Inside the Machine.
