September On's brand of Alternative Rock music has a fresh and familiar sound all at once. This Ann Arbor Michigan quartet aims to discard image and preconceptions to focus on songs and melody. They never set out to fall into any particular genre or style... they just wrote.

"We all have so many influences but we seemed to cross with 90's alternative" states drummer Michael Grosvneor. "Better Than Ezra, Foo Fighters, The Verve Pipe, & Weezer are all bands we fell in love with in our formative teen years" he continues. One can hear elements of many of those bands in September On's sound blended together with a style that is uniquely theirs.

You'll have your chance to hear for yourself with September On's debut album "Elisions." This 10 track offering showcases their broad songwriting skills, high energy, and knack for strong melodies. This album is a great compliment to their ever dynamic live show which has been turning heads around the upper mid-west. Keep an eye on this band as they are looking to continue a very busy 2009 well into 2010.
