Severe Ted was born out of the cold surf of Cape Neddick Maine. Their outlook is constantly revolving from stormy to tranquil to cheery to downright suicidal. They began as "The Strauss Project" in the early 1999's. After establishing themselves as the best lobster house band in the county, they went on tour all over the east coast. As fate would have it, they lost all of their money and all of their fans in the same week. They returned home beaten and broken. That's when they decided to change their name and take another crack at it. Severe Ted was born. And you know the rest... or do you?
