Hi...Jarrod from Admiral Twin here. I contributed a track to the For Supergrover cover song project here on T61 (Haven't heard about it? Read this article to find out more: http://www.maxbumps.net/2008/09/supergroverfor-squirrels-tribute.html.)

My track, "Orangeworker," was uploaded recently. There are also great tracks from Glenn Case, Temple Scene, and Delightful Young Man. If you'd like to check it out, head over to www.thesixtyone.com/forsupergrover/

Anytime man. Happy to help. :-)

Unbumped songs will appear in that browse, but if the artist is new or popular, you need to be quick to get to them. It only takes about a minute and 10 seconds for some songs to be bumped after they've been uploaded, and that's only because they make us wait a minute in the first place :-P

New songs appear in the Browse area when you sort by today. You can also set a bump limit to 10, meaning only songs with fewer bumps than that will appear.

On which page they show up is fairly random.

Many thanks, Shambolic - I'm glad you enjoy it. (yup, dancing bits a joke though :-) )

Spain and Scotland sound awesome. It would be neat if I could tour sometime, though I think that's a ways off in the future. I'm barely doing shows in my own town, lol.

All comments are welcomed and appreciated! As for styles, I just like to keep trying new things. I'm working on something right now which begins as an ambient dub reggae style piece (mostly as an excuse to try out my new melodica) and transitions into a straighter rock piece. We'll see how that goes...

Hey, thanks for the comment! I must ask - does that mean you don't like Velociraptor?

Hello listeners! First off, thank you for supporting us--we feel like we've received a very warm welcome to this site. It's wonderful to see such a large group of people care so much about listening and commenting about new music.

Once again, I just wanted to let you all know that we will be uploading a new song. This time it will be at 8PM EASTERN on SUNDAY, JUNE 22ND (hopefully that's a better time for listeners in Europe). This one is called, "What You're After" and it's the song that got us into the top 20 (out of 2000 entrants from 88 different countries) of the BBC's "Next Big Thing" contest last year.

If you want a sneak peak at the song, please just message us back with your email and we'll send all our 44 songs to you straight away for free (gmail and yahoo are the best, but as long as you have a big inbox it's all good).

Much peace and many, many thanks,
Mark & Drew

Poopy I just realized I didn't say what time zone. Hmmm, well, let's just say 3PM EASTERN TIME (it'd be less confusing for me cause we're in North Carolina). If you can't do the math as to what time that would be in your zone, please write me back and I'll hopefully be able to figure it out.

Also, check out http://www.myspace.com/lukeybrandfon - he's the "Luke" in "Luke's Hymn" -- those of you who have myspace accounts too should add him and then tell him to get the f*** over here on sixtyone!

Hey just wanted to give our listeners a chance to bump our new song first. I will upload it at 3pm sharp today and it is called "It's All In Your Head" from our debut album "Chopping Wood & Carrying Water" (which also has Luke's Hymn on it). I use a looping pedal when we play live and try to fill out our two-man sound with it. The only things that are overdubbed are the synths and the vocal samples, which were taken from an old Twilight Zone-like radio show.

If you want our 40+ songs for free, send us a message with your email or email us at kingtutband@gmail.com

http://www.amarodolce.com is where you can purchase our album (21 songs, 1hr17mins)

thanks a lot for your continued support!

here are the lyrics to Luke's Hymn

You can get real far with a little,
but you best not get caught up in the middle,
cause all those things that drag you down
they won't make a sound.
