Raised in South Carolina, Sarah Hargett grew up in a family steeped in southern music tradition. Gospel, bluegrass, and country found a secure place in Sarah's heart, and after years of jazz and classical training, the self-taught guitarist returned to her roots. A singer whose vocals are described as ranging "from twangy and bluesy to soft and sultry," her "meticulous guitar complements the raw honesty and precision of her song lyrics."
