tophatter: The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check my Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

Yo!
I need a little support/motivation to continue THESIXTYONE.COM Fan Podcast. I just put out a new episode ago called "Honestly Is the Best Policy". The show includes music from Citadels, Hot Bitch Arsenal, RAC, Condensator, and Tenpenny Joke. Please have your friends/fans check it out and possibly vote for us on podcastalley using the button below. It promotes all of us at the same time.

Calling all Bumpers! :) There are only 2 days left to bump my song "Michelle" before it is absorbed into the silent, sleeping land of 30 day old songs (where it can be only later awakened by a Revive!). LOL. I hope you can spare a bump or two before this happens!

Adieu,
Anj

P.S. And check out my newest song "Bright Winter", featured on my profile if you get a chance! I love to hear feedback :)

Dear listeners. I regret to inform you that Michael Miller has passed away this April 8, 2008. He had mentioned this site to me and so very much appreciated all feedback that he got from people. He lived for the fans and I am so glad you have discovered his music. Please view his profile for more information.

Thank you all.
His son,

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

CloverRex recently revived our song "Good as Gold." It's one of the very first songs we posted here on T61 a while back...I'm glad to see it's getting another shot at "the big time." If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh, by the way, don't be alarmed by the numerous backwards messages buried deep within the mix of the song. We're just subliminally encouraging you to get plenty of fiber in your diet. And check the air pressure in your tires regularly. And floss. No big deal, seriously.

Just flow with it.

Hello dear Zuba listener

Our dear friend mbjorgen has been reaaaaaly nice and helpfull to us yesterday in 2 ways:
1. She changed her vote for Mes Fantomes so finally we've got a winner and it's from now on downloadable for a week, feel free to add it to your personal collection!
2. She revived Hail Africa for it to go on the home page, so, be nice with her (and us of course ;-D) and bump it up!!!

A few bumps would be nice anyway because we'd looooove to share more songs with you, but unfortunately we need to beg for bumpybumpies becos we're stuck on level 13... even our friends Cactus Bob are now in front of us again!!! (cheeky blink blink blink)

Thanks for the support
