Biography

I have been singing, playing the piano, and attempting to write songs since I can remember. Music is the best way I know how to express myself (obviously words are not my strong suit).

I graduated from Duke University in May of 2006. While in college, I performed with an a cappella group named Rhythm and Blue. This was an amazing experience for me, and it really developed my vocal talents. If you like the a cappella tracks I posted on here, check out the group at www.duke.edu/web/rnb.

A little disclaimer: I am not, nor do I claim to be, a professional singer or songwriter. I just do... (+) expand

You're an amazing singer.

Wow, this is crazy! I just randomly found this website, just randomly searched for Jason Mraz, and just randomly found someone from my favorite a cappella group at Duke! I'm going to Duke next year and am absolutely certain I'm joining a cappella (hopefully r&b; haha)...any advice or suggestions about singing at Duke would be amazing! Thanks!

any chance of "The Remedy" being downloadable? i mean since the buy link doesn't go to the proper song. it might be a good way to get your name out there, even if you are doing this just for fun.

I agree with petiejoe 100%! We definitely need more capella here at thesixtyone! Remedy is absolutely wonderful! It has the most powerful vocals and beatboxing! I've replayed the song over and over and over again!

Oops, I can't read :P

Your bio says that you graduated college already...oh well. Any A Capella you can get your hands on from RnB would be much appreciated. There are a good many of us here that would love more.

The only other A Capella song I have found on here is "Clouded Vision" by Code Anchor. Great void to be filled!

You should definitely get RnB onto thesixtyone!

Looks like you guys are putting out an album? Remedy is awesome!

"The Remedy" is phenomenal. Keep with the A Capella stuff and maybe re-record the other songs but with the same acoustics/set-up you (guys?) used to record "The Remedy" because "The Common Tie" is inaudible and "The Wanderer" is near a hush. Louder! Lol.

Yeah man, Remedy was absolutely fantastic. The only thing that I think you could do is to make your voice more prominent in the other songs, it just isn't as crisp as it was in Remedy which can make it get a little lost.

yeah, it's a minor issue on amazon's end. at least the "buy" link makes your song look totally pro, eh? :-)

"The Remedy" hit the home page already. See what a good clean track can do? :o)

np man, your songs are great... I just wish they were all at the sound quality of Remedy (which was awesome, by the way).

Good luck, looking forward to more of your stuff! (Keep me posted)

I agree with both of bmorrow's comments. Good music deserves my magical mystery bump points. And The Remedy was pretty darn good. I've always liked that song and surprisingly, it works really well as an a cappella.

No Prob. You keep bringing the good music and I'll keep bringing the bumps.

Good Job on the Remedy. I think I may even like it better than the original.
