Combine cute and naive songs in a spirit of Lykke Li and Kate Nash with a disco-influenced electronic, and you will get the sound of "So July" - new duo-project from the west of Ukraine.

After getting known each other in the July of 2010 Julia Venture and Mykola Maksymenko decided to mix electronic background for a couple of Julia's piano-songs. However there was a slight idea how it has to sound and after first studio sessions it went from a soft hipster-friendly indietronic into full of dynamics electro-pop.

The idea to record several songs have grown into a whole new project after "Something Else", the first single along with three versions of it appeared at Ultra Vague Recordings.
