For those that don't know, this is Edwin's 3rd upload of this song. He's evolving it based on suggestions from anyone and everyone. I'm reviving it because he's re-uploading the file, not uploading completely new songs, so it might slide under the radar of those without subscriptions. So, check it out and submit any suggestions you may have on his wall. =)
I really like the idea of this experiment, Edwin. And the relative simplicity of the song lends itself well to revisions, it seems like. I'm gonna keep this front and center on my page, as it'll be very interesting to see how we can help this evolve!
This is beautiful, calm music. So often music is something that riles the emotions. This is a music that does the opposite. It calms. Thank you for making this Edwin.
thanks Ruzel, this music have a history and story. I use to make interactive projects with the members of this website :) basically they instructed me on what to add and what to deduct in creating this music :D
but since the re-design of thesixtyone prohibits me from doing anymore projects now I created my own website that can caters for creative people to make their own projects collaboration its called www.starfishmusic.net :)
go and check it out :) my profile is www.starfishmusic.net/edwin
I love how this song builds up, and has that gentle piano all the way through. It's like the guiding peace in a persons life, and starts out gentle, and ends gentle, much like that of a life we all want to live.
Yeah indeed, the song really builds up very nicely. It gets progressively more complex and wild, but at the same time it manages to keep a certain calm over it throughout as well. Love it!
i was reading one of the comments you posted mentioning your parents house in Indonesia. You do look Indonesian (I am Malaysian!) :) keep up the good work. would you be open to have your work used in films?
Hi Esteban, its a Martin Traveler guitar. It sounds horrible hahaha the photograph was taken by my little brother aphaits at my parents house back in indonesia. I gave that guitar to him around 2 years before, when he decided that want to learn how to play guitar.
Life gives me breath. I inhale with full and complete conscious effort to try and take it all in. The beauty, the intensity, the sorrow and I am filled with gratitude. Thank you for sharing this gift.
