This is simply a lovely song. I love how tight everything feels. Nothing's too fancy and there's no wasted effort. I'm really looking forward to the new album.
I first got into The National just before thesixtyone began, thanks to Boxer being featured in NPR's "All Songs Considered" Best Albums of the Year list. I was a little startled to see The National on here, but whatever increases their exposure is right by me. I don't have a favorite band, as my musical tastes are constanly in flux, but The National has been one of my most listened to in recent years.
Wishing you the very best, Bryce and Aaron, and watching your rise to stardom with an, "I told you so" appreciation and admiration. Congrats, to you and the rest of the phenomenal band. You're finally receiving the attention you so richly deserve.
PS) Ever consider bringing Holcombe on tour? See you in SF soon, I hope.
