Such a good song. One of my overall favorites of 2008. It's just so... nice. It's calming, kind of an antithesis to the subject matter, but somehow it's calming. I love it!
Great nostalgic vocals, buzzing guitar and simple piano on an ambient, mysterious? backdrop. I actually heard Radical Face first almost 2 years ago and when I first heard this song it sounded eerily (no pun intended) familiar :) Glad to find more of this great artist
well...the song IS titled "Monsters", so maybe that was the intention? idk, but monsters don't scare me. i invite them into my home for a cup of tea, or whatever beverage they prefer, and then send them on their merry way. ;o)
Baden: At first I thought, "have I heard this band before?" nope, just grandaddy. The voice sounds exactly the same to me, but the instrumentation is still very nice/different
