A great atmosphere and haunting vocals and guitar, very true to the original intent of the song while all the same adding something completely new. exactly what a good cover should do.
Why does everyone say "that's not how the original is" or "that's not how it's supposed to be"?
This is THEIR take on the song, not the beatles' take on the song. That's part of what doing a cover of someone's song is about. People need to stop being so damned judgmental about what a song is supposed to be, and listen to what it IS.
As far as I'm concerned, I think this is my favourite cover of this song so far. I love Thrice's cover, bit I think this tops that, if only barely.
I never been a real Beatles fan in my life, like its not that I don't like there music or them. It's just not the type of sound I grew up with, but this mix/cover to this song is really done well, ty for doing it!
As others said I like how you stayed true to the original which was a well thought out song to begin with. You guys add enough though to make it unique. Excellent!
