hot page here stinks like a control system begging for you to listen what they want you to listen. I'm not saying the songs there doesn't deserve to be there, but there'll be no chance for other - and maybe songs that would deserve much more to be there - as long as they don't like them. by them I mean the dictators of this site which we often called as the people who built this. anyways, they can do whatever they want. they make the rules here. :)
why can't a read track comments without them shifting away on track change? why can't i (or even the artist) read track comments without playing the track? why can't i browse through a track, to forward to more interesting parts, or to repeat a few seconds? lots of what i said in these 3 comments could technically be implemented on top of the new design, yes; but why then were they ever removed?
Love how all the good songs I've heard today are anti-T61 songs because they are on the front... page? Oh, and as I was writing this the first time, the song change and wiped away my comment as the page shifted. AWESOME DESIGN!
who are my 'followers' and who am i following, i can't tell anymore. who hearted that track i like in for you? how do i listen to track 100 under "new" without skipping 100 tracks? where was the advance note about what would change, where was it a day before the makeover? why was this design implemented when it's really still in beta? and ugly? try an artist page of someone who failed to upload a high res pic (outside of the blog readers, who knew?); or try one with a bikini pic while at work
it's not about the aesthetics. yes, the look is funky. but are not having tracklists, not having a player thats keeps playing the same track while browsing the site, not being able to see who your followers/friends are, not being able to see who said something to someone, not being able to see what artists are new to the site, not being able to leave a generic message (not a track comment) to an artist, not even being able to skip back and forth in a track, are those changes for the better?
Same. I found State Shirt because it was one of the first songs loaded on the new 61, along with all the other protest songs, haha. I love how the very first one to play was the "Ef the new 61" by axisONE. Screw this place.
im a new t61 user. i had seen the site before and i had 0 interest in signing up. now with this new attractive layout, i signed up and im enjoying it thoroughly. i will admit, though, it was very confusing at first and i know some of my friends didnt like it because they couldnt figure out how to navigate the site.
like others have said, this stands alone. as a protest song it's even better, but it sounds freaking great. Thanks State Shirt. It's too bad that this is how I had to discover you :(
thanks for the love! i sincerely hope t61 reverts the site back as i really value the connections and interactions i've had with everyone here. the new site really kills all of that. here's to hoping they'll revert back. :)
Has it really been 22 months since we lost the oldsixtyone, at least the way it was. It was great, not sure how the new version continues. Any thoughts, people?
I only use the old.thesixtyone.com anymore and I'm looking for a new site to spend my time on. Its about communication and flow of communication that keep people around. I don't know how T61 of all places forgot this?

@ weekendgamer : you're underestimating: since january 23 over a 1,000 people, listeners and artists (about 2:1 ratio), have joined uv; most of those are from over here.
