Holy balls. That's fantastic. I wish I could do something more besides wish a butt-ton of good karma your way... but I think over the internet, anything more to say thanks would be creepy.
There's a reason the past couple years have been filled with overly earnest singer-songwriters aping FOR EMMA FOREVER AGO's sound and style, whether they realize they are or not: Your music is just that compelling and honest. You weren't the first kind-of-gentle-sounding guy to do a sparse, quieter album driven by jangly acoustic guitar, but FOR EMMA and BLOOD BANK both strike very resonant chords (no pun intended), and you well deserve all the attention you've been getting.
My friends have been talking about bon Iver for months but I never really listened to hime till I heard this song. Now the more I hear it, the more I love it.
I first heard this song when I was driving to my ex's house. It will always remind me of the love we made laying in her bed all day. Always look forward to this song at the end of the album.
omg... was introduced to this artist this summer.. and i just cant get enough... have listened to the whole "for Emma, Forever Ago" album at least 100 times... just put that on repeat when im reading, working or just chillin :)
